ARTIST INFOS:
VOLLMAR (the band) is Justin Vollmar and often a few good friends.
There are two records out on Bluesanct. The first is called 'Every Place is Home' and the second is called '13, or so, People Who Need Chances'. Both were recorded and performed by Justin and move towards the conceptual reallm without latching on to its pretentions.
A third album will be completed soon, to be performed by Justin and the 'few good friends' previously mentioned.
The kind of song Vollmar writes is its own. While many songwriters may cross the mind (Townes Van Zandt, Dylan, Donovan, Drake, etc...) a singlular sound is made. Time andplace are reference points from which to create something timeless.
Or... at least that seems to be the point behind the intent.
For this tour, VOLLMAR will be the brothers Vollmar - Justin and Nathan. Justin will sing and play guitar, while Nathan will play other things using electricity.
