I have long fought with trying to make things more... frequent with my news updates.
Letting stuff pile up for months and then posting all at once is not really as useful as I would like.

Morc Records head and Drekka collaborator releases a sort of prelude to his upcoming full-length on Morc. Hazy guitar and drone songs that bring to mind the best of the post C-86 New Zealand lo-fi scene heavies like Roy Montgomery or Dissolve, or some of the timeless space explorers like Windy & Carl, Fennesz or Belong. Excellent stuff in it's own right with more to come.
While on a recent tour of Iceland, unexpected downtime occured due to the volcanic activity of Eyjafjallajškull cancelling travel to the south... world class artist, Drekka, used this time to record an entire EP of exclusive material and have it ready in time to sell at the next shows!

HENRY BLOOD is the next generation of Bluesanct... son of DARRYL BLOOD (Tiltmaster), HENRY takes cues more from his uncle DREKKA rather than the indie genius of his dad... at 8 MONTHS OLD, he composed and performed these intuitive pieces for piano and synth... plaintive passages reminiscent of Cage or Reich, with a slightly somber overtone of Harold Budd.
