I just posted our BLUESANCT spring 2009 NEWSLETTER, which contains most of the news of late... you should probably just READ IT there.
To paraphrase, what is says is:
• The BODUF SONGS 10" is almost done, and we're taking PREORDERS NOW
• The SYNTHESISIA CD came in sooner than expected, and is AVAILABLE NOW.
• The BODY OF JOHN THE BAPTIST CD is nearing completion with sample MP3s posted in SOUND
• We've got a new VOLLMAR and some old IDITAROD restocks in CATALOGUE

BODUF SONGS is primarily the work of Mat Sweet, minstrels of misery from the United Kingdom. They have released three incredible albums on Kranky, as well as a few scattered EPs and such. They also have a handful of wonderful videos on their site.
Mat gave us an exclusive 12 minute epic entitled 'inviolate projection, blood from rome (blankets)' which not only gives us the drones and hushed guitar they are known for, but also ventures into their (partially) suppressed doom underpinnings.
The record is accompanied by gorgeous specially commissioned artwork by Norwegian artist, JOHANNES HOIE, whose apocalyptic scenes perfectly embody the yearning for the black sun that is Boduf Songs.
Isaac Edwards of Odawas/More Animals of the Arctic creates a gorgeous solo album... think Popol Vuh's soundtracks for Herzog or Gabriel's 'Last Temptation of Christ'. Ltd to 300 copies.
One of our all-time favourite bands produce the third in our series of gorgeous art vinyl. 10" vinyl, ltd to 500 copies only on black vinyl w/ screenprinted b-side and letter-pressed sleeve.
New label comp, featuring unreleased music by most of the current Bluesanct roster and our friends. Part 1 of the 3 part series of 10th Anniversary compliations.
