FAQ for PRESS AND REVIEW SOLICITATION:

I. INTRO

BLUESANCT is a very small label run and funded solely from the pocket of one person.

We occasionally receive requests for review copies of our releases from journalists/DJs/zines, and would love to be able to accomodate all these requests. We cannot, however afford the postage to send out all the promos.

We have put together a system which has worked well for us and have enabled us to continue sending press/DJ copies for review consideration.

II. BLUESANCT PRESS SYSTEM

We ask for a small donation to cover the cost of postage and handling of promos. When contacting us requesting press copies of titles, be sure to include your name, press affiliation/radio station, website, and contact info.

We will request a tear-sheet, URL, playlists or some other proof that the titles were reviewed and not just added to your record collection.

We feel this system is fair, and enables us to continue to support small zines/online sites, while still covering basic costs of manufacturing/postage. Please read below for donation amounts.

We can send you several of our new releases, or requested back catalogue titles, for a donation of $3 to cover shipping and handling.

IF YOU LIVE IN CANADA / MEXICO:

We can send you several of our new releases, or requested back catalogue titles, for a donation of $5 to cover shipping and handling.

IF YOU LIVE IN EUROPE / REST OF THE WORLD:

We can send you several of our new releases, or requested back catalogue titles, for a donation of $10 to cover shipping and handling.

III. PAYMENTS

FIRST, contact us at figurehead [at] bluesanct [dot] com, telling us what you would like. THEN, we will sendyou a donation request via PayPal.
